New York, NY – February 29, 2013 – 5 Streams Global Entertainment is set to launch,"The Casting Call: Troop Star Edition," a new performance reality competition series.This "Troop Star Edition" season is exclusively for unsung heroes who have and are serving our country. Auditions are open to U.S. Veterans, active military personnel, Reservists, National Guard Members, Police Officers, Firefighters and EMTs.
The New York City Live Audition will be held on Saturday, March 9th, 2013 at John Jay College, New York, NY from 12 pm – 5pm (sharp). All contestants should come prepared with two different two-minute a cappella vocal selections. Industry judges for "The Casting Call" will also be traveling the nation in the upcoming weeks, holding auditions in four other U.S. cities (TBA), to select the 10 finalists to compete for a chance to become a star!
Contestants who can not appear in person can submit their two-minute a cappella audition videos online before March 31st at 11:59 PM PT. Videos are limited to one submission per person. Contestants should check www.thecastingcallseries.com/ts/index.php/rules-and-regulations for submission rules and terms, conditions and eligibility, as well as for more information about other audition cities and dates.
